Welcome to the Riata Warmblood Horse Registry!
"Warmbloods are a group of middle-weight horse types and breeds, primarily originating
in Europe, registered with organizations that are characterized by open studbook policy,
studbook selection, and the aim of breeding for equestrian sport.  The term
distinguishes these horses from both heavy draft horses (cold bloods)and refined
light saddle horses such as the Thoroughbred and Arabian (hot bloods)."

The Riata Warmblood Horse Registry was created to promote the showing and breeding of Warmbloods in a highly competitive environment.  With that in mind, the RWHR hosts monthly shows which encompass halter, breeding, prospect, dressage, jumper, hunter, and single day horse trials divisions.  We also offer additional shows through out the season to include Best of Breed events and a summer Futurity Show series.

The RWHR also promotes the breeding of top-notch Warmbloods from established game lines across the entire game.  The RWHR will offer many opportunities for showing, grading, and breeding to all horse owners in Riata.  Our main goals are to promote all warmblood breeds, but to also set a higher standard of excellence for all Warmbloods.
